mean your computer is lack of memory do to the use of application at the same time that use almost memory reserved.
windos wista itself needs about 512 mb to run not including running the other application like ms office, winamp or the other application so for example when you open ms office 2007 in windows vista at least it consume 750 mb and some times less just depend on the computer specification.
solution for you
- you can remove some unnessacry program from your computer find the one that need big resources or (the biggest size ..mega byte)
- remove unnecessary startup program
- remove junk file and useless add on on your browser
- adding more memory to your computer
