Instructions
  1. HDD Unlock Wizard
    • 1

Open your Web browser and download HDD Unlock Wizard (see Resources). Save the file to your desktop.

    • 2

Double-click the "hddunlock-setup.exe" file on your desktop and follow the on-screen instructions to install the software on your computer.

    • 3

Double-click the desktop icon to launch HDD Unlock Wizard or select the program from the "Start" menu. The HDD Unlock Wizard window will appear.

    • 4

Click "Next" and select from the list of connected drives the hard drive on which you wish to reset the password.

    • 5

Click "Next." The program will analyze the selected hard drive to determine if it can successfully reset the password. Click "Next" and you will arrive at the "Unlock" screen.

    • 6

Visit the HDD Unlock Web page again and purchase a Virtual Unlock Card. Once you make the purchase, HDD Unlock Wizard will email you a password so that you can access the full functions of the program. Note that prices vary depending on the size of the drive on which you wish to reset the password.

    • 7

Retrieve the password from the email from HDD Unlock and enter it into the provided area in the "Unlock" screen. Click "Next" to unlock the drive and reset the password.

    A-FF Repair Station
