You can only turn on your web camera by using the webcam application installed in your computer system. Most of the time, the webcam application is automatically installed upon the installation of the software driver for your web camera.

First, download and unzip this program from CNet: cnet2_Camera-(Suyin driver)_Acer CrystalEye webcam_5_8_31_500-WHQL_zip
Unzip it. Open Windows Firewall. Browse to this program's setup.exe file and add it to the firewall's Allowed Programs.
Run the setup.exe program.
Restart the computer.
Go to "C:\Windows\SUYIN NB Cam\LiveCam.exe" and send LiveCam.exe to the desktop.

Launches Acer Orbitcam with microphone from this shortcut. Works on Acer AO722 Win 7 Pro 64-bit. Acer does not have any of this well documented on their support site.
