No Info On Kensington Lock On My Laptop. Do Not Know How To Use It. Pl Advise. T

Choose a heavy or immovable object, such as the leg of a table, to which your notebook will be attached via the lock cable.

Wrap the cable's looped end around the object and then slide the locking device through the loop.

Place the locking device into the Kensington lock slot on your notebook.

Insert the Kensington lock key into the lock. Turn the key to the "lock" position. Pull the key to remove it from the lock slot and keep the key on you or in a safe place.

Pull gently on the cable and the locking device to check that they are secure.
