No Audio Output Device Is Installed Error
Iam having Acer aspirr 4520 with windows vista. Facing problem with the audio.
Audio icon on the right bottom is displaying red X mark with message No audio output device is installed . please help

Ah, Welcome to the NVIDIA Chipset Hell. Even though it's a Realtek sound chip, it's the chipset that controls it. Just as on the HP 9000 series, the chip heats and cools and the BGA disconnects from the motherboard. It seems that the sound is affected first on the Acer 4520, as on the HP 9000 series, it's the wireless. You could probably have it repaired or try it yourself after taking it apart and heating it with a heat gun... But That's up to you. I've had limited workability doing it this way.
