Keep Calling Phone It Says Is Not Reachable?

bought an att pay as you go phone with 50 dollar plandad currently took the device to mexico i keep calling but it keeps saying phone number is not reachable???customer service guy had told me there wouldnt be any problem.

The Representative you spoke with should have informed you when calling from abroad, the International Calling Code for our Country (United States) is 1 or 01, which must first be dialed before the actual 10 digit phone number whenever making a call from another Country.

ie: 1-555-555-5555 or 01-555-555-5555
