Apc 650va Battery Backup

Just replaced the battery in my unit. It is operating, but does not provide a sound alert when I do a test by unplugging from the electrical outlet. What is wrong

Most UPS have the ability to stop beeping using the powerchute personal edition software. The easiest way to check, is to install the software and check under configuration notification.
