How To Stop Automatic Health Insurance Premium Payments?

My brother's AARP supplementary health insurance premiums were paid from my bank account.  He passed away on last June 5th.  All his medical bills are now paid.  Who do I talk to to stop the premium payents.

Even though you might have to contact another company after you contact AARP, you can begin the process by calling Customer Service at AARP.

Before you call you will need his membership number, his date of birth, his mailing address (not that of his executor or administrator but his former residential address).

Call 1-866-839-0463 and give them the information on the latest bill received. At some point you might have to provide a certified copy of his death certificate so do not be surprised if they ask.

If the carrier was actually an AARP approved insurer, you may have to repeat the procedure with that company.
