While the power switch on the back of the recorder is in the recorder and the card inserted properly, the recorder is ON but not in use for 10 minutes, it will be active. Turning ON the Recorder 1 With the battery in the OFF position, none of the buttons or switch on the recorder will switch to power save mode automatically.
