Maytag Series 2000 (YMHWE251G) - TERRIBLE MACHINE
We have owned our Maytag Series 2000 washer and dryer set for 3 years. The washer worked fine for 12 months on ALL cycles. The only cycle that works is NORMAL. All other cycles selected causes MAJOR WATER LEAKS from the lower bottom and sides of this machine. I am now so nervous using this machine, due to the excessive water leakage as I am now looking to discard it and replace it.

The clamp on the front loader portion that lines the rubber seal - part 8540108
I love my washer over all. But gave three stars in light of this issue. The particular part mentioned above (the clamp) keeps coming off. I have been careful not to overload the washer, but this clamp pops off after several months of washing and has to be replaced or put back on. It is very hard to get back into place and I have to call a service person each time.It's very frustrating because "they" say a cause in this is "overloading" but after this happened in the past I have been very careful and conscience of this yet it is still happening. I am Frustrated.
