Remove the jammed document(s). " Close the ADF. Pull the ADF lever to pull the spring for the Pick roller while removing a jammed document. G 4-2 NOTES • Inspect the paper and the paper path. All staples and paper clips should be removed from the ADF paper chute. Make sure no staples, paper clips or other materials caused the jam.
