Operating System Setup 2-1 Your Dell computer has been shipped with the Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition operating system or the Microsoft Windows NT® Workstation operating system already installed. The setup process is customized according to your operating system so that the software functions properly on your Dell computer. Perform the steps in the following section that corresponds to which computer components you have. Initial setup of Windows 98 Second Edition takes about 15 minutes.
