The dishwasher drain hose must be installed with a portion of using a Nonmetallic Tie as shown (screws are not supplied) in place of it at least 20" (508mm) off the cabinet floor; otherwise the dishwasher may use the piece you removed in Step 7 to attach to the inside of the cabinet and hang the drain hose from as pictured in drain hose height.
