To lower the rear seatback, pull up on the seatback strap while folding the seatback down for more cargo space. This allows access to their normal stowed position before folding a rear seat. Always unbuckle the safety belts and return them to the trunk. 1-9 Notice: Folding a rear seat with the safety belts still fastened may cause damage to the seat or the safety belts.
