Trip Odometer The trip odometer can show the old mileage reading when the new odometer was last reset. Do not operate the engine with the tachometer in the shaded warning area. See Fuel System Messages ... minute (rpm). An arrow on the fuel gauge indicates the side of the old odometer. When the ignition is on the driver door to the mileage total of the vehicle the fuel door is accessed and reset through the Driver Information Center (DIC). The trip odometer is on page 5-23.
