Customer Care? WHO Cares, CLEARWIRE seems not to, but the OWL does!
I spent 2 hours or more on line yesterday with tec support to hook up my linksys wireless router, the major problem was ClearWire's slow connection speed, causing a bad magic-jack connection, with the minor complication of my mental disability, however I remained online with one angel, from start to finish, she even had the foresight to compensate for my vision impairment when she posted the router settings in note pad to my desk top. Now for a ClearWire review, not so good, I spent several hours with tec support, same slow connection, but I was dropped at least a dozen times, each tec support asked the same questions. Even though I had told them I had just been cut off. I had to remind them each to go back and review my previous attempts. In reality thay had me chasing my tail, and then came the bait and switch. For better phone service I should bundle my phone service with them, and upgrade to 4G service. I accomplished nothing with ClearWire for the same time online with Linksys Support but then again I got both my laptop and desktop on line at the same time, now IF ClearWire would only keep the night time MBPS according to speedtest.net throughout the day, I could keep in contact with SSD and my doctor, while I deal with my medical condition. Shame on ClearWire for throttling or whatever tactics they are using to limit internet connectivity.crazyredhead87.... July 5th, 2011
Reps are great
My local rep is great and full of information and very helpful. I very much enjoyed interacting with him and he was able to answer all of my questions. We found out that Clear is not for me because I need a higher internet speed, but he is a great guy.Anonymous-32569.... July 2nd, 2011
ridiculous. modem cannot and will not maintain 1.0mb connection. constantly getting less than a single megabyte and supposed to be getting up to 2. crazy. time warner offering same monthly rate im paying for 6.0-7.0 mb. no comparison. customer service tellin me hotspots of the day are to blame. as if having to many customers is a problem, and if it is, maybe they should update systems faster or at least let me know that for $35 a month, i'll not be able to stream movies or play ps3 games. gotta get 1.0 to stream in sd, so you can forget hd.

I can't say enough about terrible connection services. I would rather pay more to talk to someone who understands what I am saying and not forcing me through prompts on a screen and me understanding them without wanting to jump through the phone and choke the poor little foreigner. Their billing practices are putrid. They do not give notice of price changes increases or unauthorized other billing increases and they automatically debit your account. Crazy. Stay away from clearwire.
