Emachine Et1831-05 Keeps Randomly Freezing

As stated above, it keeps freezing. I have formatted & restored, installed a different version of windows, replaced memory, changed processor....all with the same results....freezes. My son bought this computer to play WOW and would not send it in to be fixed...been freezing since day one. I now assume that it's a motherboard issue....any suggestions?

Freezing could indicate a problem with the motherboard or hard drive but honestly it could be many other things as well. If you're not experienced with diagnosing a PC then I would recommend bringing it to a local repair shop to have it fixed rather than wasting more money on guesses.
