Blinking Light

I press the power button it seems to turn on but the power button blinks on one second off for about 3 seconds and on again for a second and then off again for about 3 seconds, the computer does not make noise when I hit the power button, everything on the inside of a computer seems to turn on like how it's supposed to, just no monitor display and the blinking light on the power

Suspect a ram problem. Either of the ram chips could have failed if you have 2. Try removing one at a time and running with only 1. I have attached a link to a youtube video. It is bit long to get to the point but it explains how to fix the problem.

Initially it appears weird but persevere.

Sometimes a blinking power light attempts to indicate that one has come loose and the system can't boot properly. Also, if it's blinking in a specific pattern or sequence (e.g. short-short-long), you might be able to look that up in a manual for the computer or OEM motherboard.

The monitor power light is blinking and there is no picture.

Disconnect the monitor power plug, wait a few minutes, and then reconnect.

Remove the monitor power plug from any surge protector or power strip and plug it directly into a known working electrical wall outlet. ...
