Operation System Not Found-emachines 528

good Evening all my name is chris I was wondering if there might be someone to assist me with my problem my Laptop seemed to have crashed the model is a e-machines E258 now when I switch on my laptop it gives me the following Intel UNDI ,PXE-2.0 (build 083) underneath that it says Copyright (C) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation. underneath For. Atheros PCIE Ethernet Controller v2.0.1.4 (09/09/09) and then it alsow says check cable connection! PXE-MOF :exiting Intel PXE ROM. Operating system not found .Now I have talked to a frend that has IT at school he says I have to put in my windows 7 disc and do a system recovery but proble is I do not have the windows 7 disc anny more what can I do to fix this laptop please guys I am desperate I'm kind regards Chris
