I Am Not Getting Audio To The Receiver

Hi,,I am not getting audio to the receiver. The picture is still going to the tv, and i can listen to the tv with the tv speakers,but when i try to get the receiver to play the tv sound, i get nothing. The receiver is functioning, because i can listen to the radio.

Sound like the cable your using for audio connections is bad try another cable. Also make sure that you are selecting the correct mode( tape, vcd/cd, or dvd).
