Yamaha Rx-v1050 Display Is Inop
The display on my Yamaha RX-V1050 is not working, it stays black at all times. The unit is working as designed with all of the functions. Is this a bulb, if so what is the part number?

That is an LCD display, and not likely the display but the power board (or power source) for the backlights, usually the LCD display does not go "blank" but begins to have distortion and other noticeable problems before they fail.
I do not have the service manual for that model, along with parts; however, it might be less expensive to have it serviced. If you decide you want to challenge this yourself,
