The Yamaha PSR-450 is a digital keyboard that comes with a variety of built-in tones or voices. While you cannot add new tones to the keyboard itself, you can use MIDI files or audio samples to expand the range of sounds available to you.

Here are some ways you can add new tones to your Yamaha PSR-450:

  1. Connect your keyboard to a computer or external sound module that has additional tones or voices available. You can use a MIDI connection or a USB connection to do this. Once connected, you can select the new tones from the connected device.
  2. Use a software sampler or sound library to create or download new sounds. You can use a program like Kontakt or Omnisphere to create or download new sound libraries. Once you have created or downloaded the sounds, you can play them on your keyboard by using a MIDI connection.
  3. Record your own sounds or samples and use them on your keyboard. You can use a digital audio workstation (DAW) like Ableton Live or Logic Pro to record your own sounds or samples. Once you have recorded them, you can transfer them to your keyboard using a USB connection.

Note : that the PSR-450 has a limited amount of memory available for storing additional samples or sounds. If you plan on adding a large number of new sounds, you may need to use an external storage device like a USB flash drive or an external hard drive. Additionally, you may need to adjust the settings on your keyboard to optimize the new sounds for playback on the PSR-450.
