Yamaha 01v A Page Comes On The Screen Saying 'system Sofware Loader' 'current

I know this isn't a Yamaha site but they don't seem to have a forum like this and I just thought I'd see if anybody has come across this.Sounds critical..... when I switch on my 01v a page comes on the screen saying 'System Sofware Loader' 'current version:>>no data' and there are 4 boxes saying 'to host' 'fast' 'midi' and 'exit'.It has happened a couple of times in the last couple of weeks (I've had it for about 5 years) and selecting 'exit' seemed to do the trick. Now however, when I select it, the new page comes up saying 'boot up program' and then goes back to the original 'system software loader' page.

Unable to find a specific reference to your issue. However after 5 years I would suspect that the battery may be reduced in output so giving spurious errors. I have searched the manual and it would seem that the unit needs programming in the midi setup. However this could be a red herring if it is the battery. I have attached a link to the manual and the information you should refer to begins around page 230 onwards but I suggest perusing it to look for specific words i.e. 'Host' This is the link:

If you have the original software disk/s (if any)then a re-installation would be advisable.

Good Luck.
