Unable To Create A New Account.

Unable to access yahoo mail for several weeks due to computer problem. Problem now resolved but my account has been recycled. Unable to create new account because I do not have a mobile phone. I was told my application was not accepted because I did not meet some age requirement. I am 77. What is going on. There is no way to get there from here!So I cannot access an e.mail response. My home phone

1. Yahoo has no age requirements of anyone over age 17. You likely provided the wrong birth date inadvertently-but Yahoo expressly invites users in that situation to create a new account. Is it possible you made the same mistake twice?

2. I'm afraid the previous answer was overly optimistic by a wide margin. It may not be possible these days to reach a live representative by phoning Yahoo, and even trying can be inordinately time-consuming. (To try, call 800-318-0612 or 866-562-7219.) If you feel you need to turn to Yahoo for one-on-one support, I suggest that instead you submit this form; if necessary, Yahoo may phone you. Another option is to turn to Yahoo's community.
