Tech Manual And Indicator Lights

We are having issues with our washer and since we bought it second hand from an appliance repair shop, it has no manual inside the cabinet. It recently had been lighting up the wash light after a cycle is complete but other than seeing somewhere else where someone with the same issues as we have found that it would most likely be the main control board (part name?) Was going out which isn't exactly what we want to hear but I wond3r if it's why too the washer seems to do everything at a much slower transition pace from cycle to cycle and why the wrong light lights up at the end?
