About A Foot Of Water Got Into My Whirlpool Roper Dryer, Is It Safe To Use?

When our basement flooded the dryer got about 1 foot of water in it the water has been out of it for about 7 days.  Is it safe to use?  Or is there anything I can do to check it out or make it safe?
