What is happening is the defrost drain line leading down to the pan at the bottom of the refrig. is clogged up. The drain now has frozen and the defrost water is being bypassed down into your food section. You will need to take the food out of the freezer and disassemble the back panel of the freezer. When you get that panel off you will see a pan under the cooling coil that will be iced over. You need to remove that ice and clear the little hole of ice. It is located somewhere in the middle. Once you get the ice out you will see it. Use a hair dryer or just shut it off and leave the doors open overnite. Clear the drain and pour some hot water(really hot) down the drain to make sure it runs. A turkey baster really works good for cleaning the hole. Reassemble and your good to go.
