How Do I Connect My Pc To My New Vizio Vht215 Using Hdmi Cable.
I have connected my VIZO VHT215 to my HDTV using HDMI cable in the "OUT (ARC)". I use another HDMI from cable box to HDTV - standard connection and it works fine.
My goal, however, is to connect both my PC and my HDTV to the soundbar and be able to switch between them using the remote (HDMI 1, or HDMI 2).
When I connect my PC to HDMI port 1 on the Vizio soundbar I get nothing but a solid blue screen, same using HDMI port 2.
I've also tried disconnecting the cable box from the soundbar and still receive just a blue screen from the PC connection.
My PC signal works fine if connected directly to the HDTV (HDMI), but not at all trying to go thru the soundbar. Is the PC/video card sending a signal that soundbar does not understand?
Using Windows 7 and a video card with HDMI output.
