I Can't Take Pictures

i just bought a vivitar X022, and I can't take a picture, it take itself, it get stuck and the only way to get it unblock is to take off the batteries

Hi. Format the Memory and reset the camera's settings to factory defaults (X022 & X025 have the same menu structure) and then restart it and observe. If the issue persist, then the camera's will have to have a firmware/hardware defect and thus you will need to simply take it back to your retailer.
