Vivatar Vivicam X022 Card Protected
We have a Vivicam X022 that we bought 6 months ago. We could only take one picture without a card, so we used the card that my son had for his camera, and 'card protected' came up on the X022's screen. We decided that the card was faulty after sliding the lock on the card to unlock it and got the same message more than once. However, there is now a new card in the camera, and even after sliding the lock, we still get 'card protected' message when trying to take a picture. Is there a way to reset the camera or otherwise fix this issue?

This error indicates that the write protect switch on the side of your SD memory card is in the locked position. Take the card out of the camera and make sure the switch is in the unlock position.
