Turning Off Laptop

when i turn the computer off and close the laptop then i open the laptop it automatically turns on

Go into your control panel go to change power settings and it has an option on when and when you don't have your PC plugged in on what to do when it is shut you press power button or when you open the screen.

We had the same problem with this computer. It has to do with windows 8 being made compatible with tablets. The solution: Hold down the shift key while pressing shut down. This will shut down the computer. You can do this from the sign in page or by going to settings selecting power and then selecting shut down whlie holding shift key. To get to settings run the cursor to the right top of the screen. This is the official solution BTW.
