Unlock A Toshiba Satellite P855-s5312 Laptop
when I turn on my Toshiba when it powers up it asks for a password and I dont know what it is so I want to fix it but dont know how

The purpose of the password is to prevent theft, and that purpose would be defeated if I could tell you how to override it. You can delete the password, but only if you first enter it. (See http://bit.ly/1KnZ8zy.) Unfortunately, you must obtain the password from the former owner.

If you own the laptop legitimately then this youtube video explains the procedue. I have bought numerous laptops and people seem to 'forget' the password which does not help.
