No Power

the silver came off some connectors it acts like when I plug it up it don't have any power at all why can't I get it to work is this why?

It possible that the power connections to the power plug may have broken and so no path for the power to go to the laptop. Unless you are a good solderer and can repair the connections you will need to ask an engineer if it can be repaired. A photo of the problem area would help us to give a better answer.
