Mouse Pad Failure

The mouse touch pad has stopped working.  An external usb mouse does work.  The mouse properties shows that it is working properly.  I tried disabling and then enabling to no avail.  Restarting the computer a few times was also unsuccessful.

If this is not a hardware related issue, there might be conflict to the driver software of your Toshiba Satellite C875D-S7225 laptop. The best solution for this is to reinstall the driver software for the touchpad device using the installation CD/DVD media. Unfortunately, you may be required to replace the touchpad if this is a hardware related problem. Refer to the user's manual here for more information.
