Toshiba C655 Plugged In Not Charging

is there a permanent fix for plugged in not charging?

1:Go to start>Right click My Computer> Device Manager> Battery>Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery , right click on it and click “Uninstall". Then restart your pc and it should be charging. Or maybe your battery is defective.

2:Make sure you are using the proper charger, Toshiba recommends their universal 75 watt adapter (19V x 3.95 A)

3:Remove the battery, plug in the charger & make sure the there are signs of life, indicator lights lidhting up.
