There could be several reasons why it shut down and won't turn back on. Here are a few possibilities:

1. Power issues: Ensure that your laptop is plugged into a functioning power outlet and that the charger is working correctly. Sometimes, a faulty power connection or a drained battery can cause the laptop to shut down unexpectedly.

2. Overheating: Laptops can shut down automatically when they overheat to prevent damage to the internal components. Check if the cooling vents are blocked or clogged with dust, as this can hinder proper airflow and lead to overheating issues.

3. Hardware problems: It's possible that there may be a hardware issue preventing your laptop from turning on. This could include a faulty power button, a malfunctioning motherboard, or a defective component. In such cases, it might be necessary to seek professional assistance or contact Toshiba's customer support for further guidance.

4. Software issues: Occasionally, software or driver conflicts can cause a laptop to shut down unexpectedly. Try booting your laptop into safe mode by pressing the F8 key repeatedly after powering it on. If it successfully starts in safe mode, you can try troubleshooting by uninstalling any recently installed programs or drivers, running a virus scan, or updating your operating system.

If none of these solutions resolve the issue, it is recommended to reach out to Toshiba's customer support for specific troubleshooting steps or to arrange for repairs. They will be in a better position to assist you based on the details of your particular situation.
