White Spots On Screen.
OVER THE LAST FEW WEEKS BRIGHT WHITE SPOTS ARE FORMING ON THE SCREEN. ABOUT 10 OF THEM NOW. WHAT IS IT?

This is caused by some of the mirrors sticking on the 1.5 million mirrored chip (DLP chip: http://www.shopjimmy.com/samsung-mitsubishi-toshiba-4719-001997-dlp-chip.htm)
The chip could be replaced or the engine chould be changed. Either choice is rather expensive, but the engine is a better idea since you also get a new color wheel too: https://www.encompassparts.com/webwiz/wwiz.asp?wwizmstr=WEB.SEE&partnumber=7199272&smodel=57HM167
