Correct Gas-oil Ratio

Hi,I have 2004 Jiffy ice auger with Tecumseh TM049XA engine. Some engine's service manuals requires 24:1 ratio, some makes exclusion for ice augers and allow 40:1 ratio. So, what ratio is right?Thank you
