No. Unlike cellular providers that charge you about $6 months for insurance to cover the phone... at Walmart, you are buying the phone out right. Unless it doesn't work at the time of purchase or fails during the warranty period, there is no coverage for the phone. The warranty only covers manufacturing problems, not drops, water, broken screens, etc.
