If the phone is truly broken (like it won't even turn on), you may be out of luck unless the phone has a memory card you can remove like a SD or MMC card.  If the pics are stored on a removable memory card you can just remove the card and use a card reader on a PC to save them.  If there is no removable card and the phone is really dead there is very little you can do that won't cost you big bucks.

If the phone turns on you "should" be able to plug a cable into it and into a PC and get the pics that way.  Most newer phones have a sync cable you can connect them to a PC with, some don't.  If yours does you'll need to get the right cable for it.  You can check Walmart or Radio Shack to see if they have a cable that will work.

On the PC (assuming you get connected and the phone works) the storage on the phone should just show up as another disk drive in the Windows Explorer and you can cut and paste the images from the phone to the PC.

unless you are able to turn on your phone then it will not be possible. the reason it didnt transfer when you changed your num is because the pics are storded on the local memory inside the phone, the phone number is nothing but a way u are registerd under that company.

now if u are able to turn on your phone u r in luck, first buy a data cable, then connect it to the turnd on phone and then to your computer, even if you cannot see the screen its ok, if it says put in a pin into your phone the enter the one provided by ure computer when you connect it if it asks for a pin num on your computer then place the last 4 digs of ure cell into the box that asks for the pin on your computer. then once your in go through the files through your computer

now if it dosent ask for anything just press what ever button you used to seclect things on your phone bc it is probly asking if you want to connect to your computer,

there you go u should be set if it is able to turn it on, if it will not turn on this will not work and u have no way of getting the pics back, srry
