No, Sony VPCJ111FX will not work on Windows 8 Operating System. The main reason for this is because there is no available Windows 8 Driver Software for this device. The available driver software is compatible only with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Operating System. You can download and read more information about this machine here:
