Digital Audio Cable Type
What type of digital audio cable is required to connect a home sound system to a Sony KDL-40WL140 television? I have attempted to use a Toslink Digital Optical SPDIF Audio Cable and a rocketfish digital optical audio cable model 15K19H to make the connection to the digital audio cable port on the television, but the cable end for both types of cable will not fully insert into the port. The sound bar I am attempting use (a Vizio VSB200) will only accept the SPDIF cable type.

Use an Rca audio cable red & white to connect to the component audio on the tv.
