After reviewing the user manual (http://www.helpowl.com/manuals/Sharp/XEA506/76017) it appears that the battery is mounted internally and requires the case to be opened. It is not intended to be end-user replaceable.

I recommend you have a service tech handle this to avoid damaging the unit.
