How Do I Reset The Grand Totals On My Sharp Cash Register?
I'd also like to know how to have a daily, itemized report of sales, and be able to zero out sales at the end of the day, so I can keep track of daily activity and start fresh every day

The Grand Total does not reset. It is like an odometer in a car that shows how much has been through the machine. If you could reset it, staff could steal from you. just ignore it on the reports.
To run a standard report each day, turn the key to X1/Z1 mode, press decimal point, then TL (CASH). this will reset the report for the next day. the first on may have large figures, just ignore it. the next one should be correct.
