I Have An Xe-a106 Cash Register And I Cannot Do A Z-pgm For The Day, All That Sh

I have an XE-A106 cash register and I cannot do a Z-PGM for the day, all that shows in the window is - - - -, how do I reset it?

turn the key to the first x/z position and press the decimal button then cash for the zero out and to just do an x reading key in same position then press cash
