How To Print From Bypass Tray On The Sharp Mx-2600n?

In an effort to conserve & recyle, how do you print onto one side of recycled paper? I've been trying to use the bypass tray feature but it's not working but I keep getting an error. Is it possible to copy onto a piece of paper that's been printed on one side already? Can i also scan onto?

Generally you dont want to feed paper through the machine a second time. The fuser runs at 195celsius and that tend to dry the paper out. You will run into many problems doing that.

Using the bypass tray is simple. Load paper in the tray(dont try using a single sheet as often this wont trigger the sensor)

Printiong preferences

Paper

select the bypass tray (if heavier then 24lb paper make sure you slect the aproriate type/weight of the paper) You will also see RECYCLED..you can try this as well. Im not sure what this selection does to affect the temp of the fuser. Different weights/finishes of the paper makes it necessary for the fuser to run at a different temp.
