New software/firmware updates are only recommended when your set is performing in an uncharacteristic manner. For more information on updating your AQUOS TV, please contact an AQUOS Advantage Advisor at 1-877-See-AQUOS (1-877-332-7867) or www.aquosadvantage.com. AQUOS Advantage Advisors are available to assist you Mon - Fri, 7am - 9pm Central Time and Sat, Sun and Holidays 9am - 7pm Central Time.
So updating your firmware (if it's possible) should not be your first step to resolve a problem. Before taking that step, consult Sharp at the above number, or resubmit to us at Help Owl with details. (That number will also provide guidance to updating the firmware, should that be appropriate.)
