When Swithching To Reg The Display Panel Goes Blank

The solution provided by sharp support is to perform a reset. Insert your Sharp cash register's key into the mode switch and turn the switch to the "Z/PGM" position. Press the "CHK" button to reset the GT. Enter your cash register's secret code if prompted. A "Z" sales reading will print and the GT value, as well as all values, will clear and appear as zero.
