Sharp window A/C - Every thirty days the AFX 12,000 BTU unit is set to turn off automatically and display an E! error to remind you to clean the air filter. To restart, unplug the unit. Hold down the power button and plug in. Wait for the beep and then unplug. Plug in again and the unit should restart. If there is is no beep there may be a mechanical problem
