Freeagent Goflex Powers On But 2 Lights Flashing And Not Recognized By Laptop

Returned from a trip. Took my FreeAgent GoFlex Desk 1TB and it worked fine. At home, set everything up as always. The external hard drive has a power light and 4 long vertical lights to indicate used capacity. Power light does not come on and the second and fourth of these lights are flashing continually and the drive is not recognized by my Asus laptop. I'm suspecting the power cord but need some help.
